We’re Here No Matter Where You Are
“I stand by the river and I know that it has been here yesterday and will be here tomorrow and that therefore, since I am part of its pattern today, I also belong to all its yesterdays and will be a part of all its tomorrows.” – Virginia S. Eifert, Wisconsin naturalist
Every member of the St. Norbert College community understands that we are part of a past, a present and a future: a past that began with Abbot Pennings in 1898, a present that finds the college in full stride, and a future that holds bright promise.
That understanding is at the heart of the strong support we give the college. Our generous community supports the St. Norbert Fund, the source of our students’ financial aid; it gives to campaigns; it leaves legacy gifts. And it contributes in so many other ways to the life of the college through volunteerism, service on boards, active participation in campus life, and more.
An eager freshman … an excited graduating senior … a confident new graduate … a successful alum … a proud parent … a dedicated faculty member … a friend to the school … a trustee … a Golden Knight. At any stage in life, in any form of relationship with the college, each of us is part of a continuum of engagement. As Virginia Eifert felt a part of the river, so we belong to all the college’s yesterdays, and will be part of all of its tomorrows.
