St. Norbert gives students the opportunity to experience the richness of college life, pursue their dreams and expand their knowledge.

Proudest achievement at St. Norbert:
As a member of the Student Government Association, I am tasked with leading my fellow students to better ourselves through the spirit of communio and serving the common good. Last year, through serving on the Food Insecurity Initiative Committee, I was dedicated to ensuring that no student experienced food insecurity. I was able to raise awareness about food insecurity through creating and distributing flyers, establishing a system for students to repurpose their unused meal dollars for our fellow food-insecure students, and accepting donations, through a donation drive, from staff and faculty to ensure food-insecure students on our campus could be properly nourished.

How St. Norbert has changed me:
Being a St. Norbert College student has been one of the most fun, rewarding, and, at times, challenging experiences of my life. Given that I only get four years to spend here, I knew from day one I wanted to make the most of it. I have received an excellent education from the best professors, immersed myself in a variety of extracurricular activities, and stepped up to multiple leadership roles within my extracurriculars, stepping out of my comfort zone to surround myself with all of the necessary tools to be successful in the next stages of my life. Without a doubt, St. Norbert College has shaped me and molded me into the person I am today and given me a college experience that will forever push me to achieve my goals.

Plans for the future:
With hopes of attending law school to become a guardian ad litem or adoption attorney upon graduation, I plan to continue my passion of helping those who are unable to help themselves.

People would be surprised if they knew:
Aside from all of the activities, clubs, and organizations I’m involved in, during the school year, I work four on-campus jobs in addition to babysitting in order to help fund my academic journey at St. Norbert College. I work as an aquatics lifeguard, swim lessons instructor, First Year Experience mentor, and catechist. Throughout the summer, when I’m not busy working on campus, I’m lifeguarding on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, S.C.

What my scholarship means to me:
Being that I am tasked with fully funding my entire college education and beyond, my scholarships mean more to me than I could ever put into words. The generosity of each and every donor has helped me realize my lifelong dream of following in my mom’s footsteps, not only at St. Norbert College, but also in becoming a lawyer. I have the most sincere appreciation and deepest gratitude for the scholarship money I have received because it has given me fruitful opportunities to continue my education, my faith journey, and my commitment to helping others in a community I love—and to become all God intends me to be.
